Why we build Yawm
A useful reading app should help with both parts of a habit: remembering to begin and wanting to return. Yawm combines a full Quran reader with achievable time goals, streaks, reminders, Ayah and streak widgets, and short vocabulary games linked to what you read.
The reader supports different scripts and layouts, downloadable translations and recitations, offline use, and a two-page iPad spread when the landscape window is wide enough. Optional app blocking on supported iPhone and iPad devices offers another way to put a little reading before distracting apps.
The app is available on iPhone, iPad, and Android. Its current offering is free and ad-free. Official store listings identify dawm LLC as the developer.
Resources and acknowledgements
Yawm’s in-app acknowledgements identify translation and learning resources, including The Clear Qur’an and Quran Coach. Its third-party notices include DigitalKhatt’s rendering work and the IndoPak font. Translation authors and available sources should be checked in the app for the selection you use.
We link to these resources to acknowledge their work. An acknowledgement does not imply that an organization endorses Yawm or has reviewed every app feature.
How to read our guides and comparisons
Guides on this website are written by Yawm’s team. Product comparisons disclose that we make Yawm and link to official competitor information. We distinguish suggested reading routines from product features and identify practical limitations such as offline requirements and quiz language.
If you find an inaccurate feature description, a broken link, or a translation display problem, send the page or verse reference to info@dawm.app so we can investigate.
